Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts Concord is seeking Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructors (RN/LVN) for the Vocational Nursing program at our Concord Campus. Open AM and PM shifts with hourly pay ranging from $35.00 to $50.00.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN or ASN/ADN in Nursing and have 3+ years of RN/LVN experience with a Bachelor's or 6+ years with an Associate degree. This role supports program development and CME compliance.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited school
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with an Associate’s degree

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in a Clinical setting for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in organizing and implementing the program’s standards.
• Maintain knowledge of medical education and ensure facilities CME requirements are met.

Gurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs.

Gurnick Academy is currently seeking a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructors (RN) for the Vocational Nursing program at our Concord Campus. There are open positions for AM and PM Shifts:

Hourly Pay Range: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Shift Times

• AM Shift, (6:30AM - 3:30PM)
• PM Shift, (2:30PM - 11:30PM)
• Saturdays: (6:30AM-3:30PM, 2:30PM-11:30PM)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in a Clinical setting for our Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty members to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in the organization of the program and implementation of the program's standards.
• Maintain continuous knowledge of medical education and assure about the facilities continuous medical education requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Bachelors (BSN) or associate degree (ASN or ADN) in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with an Associate’s degree.
