Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts invites qualified part-time Didactic or Clinical Nursing Instructors (RN/LVN) to join our Sacramento Campus Vocational Nursing program. Instructors will teach in clinical and classroom settings, supporting program development and ensuring adherence to standards.

Ideal candidates hold active California RN or LVN licenses with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a valid teaching credential, and have teaching experience within the last five years.

Qualifications

• BVNPT requires RN/LVN faculty candidates to hold a CA license and a BSN or equivalent.
• An instructor in a vocational nursing program shall meet teaching requirements or be currently enrolled in an approved teaching program in California.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in a clinical setting for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in organizing the program and implementing standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical education and CME requirements.
