Job summary

Gurnick Academy Of Medical Arts Llc is seeking a part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor for the Vocational Nursing program at our Modesto Campus. The position offers an hourly pay range of $35-$45 and the schedule options of Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.

The instructor will teach in a clinical setting, collaborate with didactic and clinical faculty, and support program leadership in meeting accreditation and educational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required for LVN/RN faculty candidates.
• Current California RN or LVN license required.
• Minimum of three years' RN/LVN experience within last five years.
• Course or credential in teaching preferred or must be pursuing approved teaching coursework.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in a clinical setting for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty to discuss program development and standards.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in organizing and implementing program standards.
• Maintain knowledge of medical education and ensure facilities meet COE requirements.
