Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Manufacturing Associate in the VLS department to perform a range of mechanical and labor tasks in a fast-paced production environment. You will set up and operate drilling, sanding, hand tools, and test equipment while following work instructions.

The role requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience, the ability to work independently or in a team, basic math and computer skills, and the stamina to lift up to 40 lbs. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic math, reading, writing and computer skills (MS Office).
• Good organizational and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run various manufacturing equipment, including drills, sanders, hand tools, and test equipment.
• Work with paints, adhesives, solvents, and primers.
• Perform visual quality inspections of parts.
• Follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Meet daily output targets and maintain documentation.
• Communicate with other departments to solve issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Use appropriate PPE in designated area.
• Other duties may be assigned.
