Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a manufacturing technician to setup tooling and production lines, perform minor repairs, and ensure conformance to specifications. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, owning basic hand tools, and using precision measuring equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: high school education with one year of manufacturing experience.
• Must own basic hand tools and be able to use measurement and test equipment (e.g. caliper, micrometer).
• Must be able to lift and transport materials up to approximately fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs setups on machines, equipment, or production lines.
• Handles minor repairs and maintenance of equipment with minimal supervision.
• Understands specifications and work orders to ensure proper setup.
• Approves inspection reports as required.
• Basic fabrication as required.
• Monitors department equipment for safety and reports unsafe conditions.
• Completes time, inspection, downtime, scrap, productivity, and production reports.
