Job summary

Charles River Insourcing Solutions seeks a Central Services Supervisor to oversee Central Services and Animal Care Technicians at the Novartis site in San Diego, CA. The role provides leadership to maintain performance in line with company standards and client objectives.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in a laboratory animal facility, strong SOP and regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with relevant lab animal facility experience.
• Leadership/supervisory experience required in a laboratory setting.
• Experience with cagewash operations and animal facility management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Central Services and Animal Care staff to meet client objectives and schedule staffing accordingly.
• Inspect cagewash facilities and equipment to ensure sanitation and environmental standards.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of cagewash machinery and adherence to SOPs.
