Job summary

Charles River’s CRADL in San Diego seeks a Facility Supervisor to oversee daily animal facility operations. You will supervise staff, plan schedules, monitor performance, and liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum four (4) years in a laboratory animal facility with two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in animal or life sciences preferred.
• LATG certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of staff conducting husbandry and support services.
• Plan and monitor work schedules, including weekends and on-call coverage.
• Monitor performance, health concerns, and client needs; report findings.
• Recruitment support, interviews and HR-related matters per policy.
• Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with service delivery.
• Provide mentorship and uphold CRADL core values in daily work.
