Placements24 is seeking a Sales Specialist for a viticulture technology company based in Paarl, Western Cape. You will identify client needs, present advanced technical solutions for vineyards and wineries, and close sales to drive revenue and build lasting partnerships.

The ideal candidate has deep viticulture and winemaking knowledge and a proven track record in technical sales. This office-based role requires frequent travel to client sites across the Western Cape winelands, including Paarl.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in viticulture/oenology/agriculture/business.
• 3-5 years in sales, preferably wine industry or technical equipment.
• Travel extensively within Western Cape with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve quotas for winery and vineyard technology in Paarl and Western Cape.
• Build and maintain relationships with winery owners, vineyard managers, and cellar masters.
• Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges and recommend optimal solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations highlighting viticulture and oenology features.
• Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Stay updated on viticulture tech advances, winemaking techniques and market trends.
• Collaborate with technical support and product development to meet client needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and wine festivals in the Western Cape.
