Job summary

The Physician Ambassador role at Ingenovis Health supports the CMO/RCMO in maintaining clinical integrity for VitalSolution programs delivered to hospitals. You will help update and implement medical procedures and standards as healthcare evolves, while continuing to serve as a full-time physician.

The role also engages in recruitment activities, reviewing candidate CVs and conducting initial phone screens, and coordinating with the recruiting team.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Board Certification is preferred.
• Administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional working relationship with all VitalSolution team members.
• Supports the clinical quality and integrity of VitalSolution programs by assisting with the facilitation of the 360° Quality Program.
• Acts as a liaison between the VitalSolution CMO/RCMO and physicians.
• Documents findings of the quality program.
• Ensures quality delivery of patient care by filling scheduling gaps at their normal rate for applicable facilities.
• Assists recruiting by reviewing candidate CVs and clinical history to approve candidates for further evaluation.
• Conducts reference check calls.
• Conducts initial phone screen evaluations.
• Identifies potential physician candidates and refers them to the recruiting team.
• Participates in conferences and VitalSolution recruiting events.
• Some travel is required to perform the position responsibilities.
• Performs additional duties as requested by the CMO/RCMO.

SUMMARY

The Physician Ambassador assists the CMO/RCMO to support the clinical integrity of the VitalSolution programs that provides to hospitals delivered through the Quality Program. This position will work with the CMO/RCMO to update, develop, and implement medical procedures and standards as the health care industry evolves. The Physician Ambassador will also be responsible to assist the CMO/RCMO and VitalSolution recruiting leadership with the recruitment of physicians. These responsibilities are in addition to their duties working as a full-time physician for VitalSolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a professional working relationship with all VitalSolution team members.


• Supports the clinical quality and integrity of VitalSolution programs by assisting with the facilitation of the 360° Quality Program.


• Acts as a liaison between the VitalSolution CMO/RCMO and physicians.


• Documents findings of the quality program.


• Ensures quality delivery of patient care by understanding and acknowledging that they are responsible for personally filling any scheduling gaps that exist (after all reasonable efforts have been made) at their normal rate for applicable healthcare facilities, as defined by the CMO/RCMO.


• Assists recruiting by reviewing candidate Curriculum Vitae and clinical history to approve candidates for further evaluation.


• Conducts reference check calls.


• Conducts initial phone screen evaluations.


• Actively identifies potential physician candidates and refers them to the VitalSolution recruiting team.


• Participates in conferences and VitalSolution recruiting events.


• Some travel required, as required, to perform the position responsibilities.


• Performs additional duties as requested by the CMO/RCMO.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• Work as a physician for VitalSolution in a full-time capacity.


• Medical degree, either a M.D. or a D.O.


• Board Certification is preferred.


• Experience in an administrative position is preferred.


• Experience working in a team environment.

Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone, email, video conference and face to face contact Ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office related equipment such as but not limited to a computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard and mouse Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
