Job summary

The Tampa Museum of Art is seeking a Vitality Arts Program Coordinator to advance lifelong learning and creative aging initiatives for Tampa Bay’s 55+ community. You will partner with the Head of Community and Studio Arts Programs and external vendors to manage the renovation of the PNC Family Classroom and Gallery.

Responsibilities include coordinating Studio 55, piloting Salon 55 discussions, and executing programs within approved budgets while collaborating with Marketing and Grant teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Education, Art, Public Health, Gerontology, or related field OR 4 years’ program management or teaching experience.
• Experience with adults 55+ and community arts engagement preferred.
• Experience developing and executing community arts and education programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates Studio 55 studio art programs: scheduling teaching artists and developing class schedules.
• Instructs classes as needed and supports program delivery.
• Leads Salon 55 community discussions and focus groups.
• Manages administrative tasks for Vitality Arts Programs and reports on outcomes.
• Collaborates with Marketing to promote events and initiatives.
• Oversees program budgets and grant-related activities.
