Job summary

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Public Health, seeks a Technical Records Specialist 1 in Boise to support the Vital Records Customer Service team by processing online and mailed certificate applications and guiding customers.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This on-site role offers a robust state benefits package and opportunities to contribute to vital records services for Idahoans.

Qualifications

• Experience handling records management systems.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to download and process online and mailed certificate applications.

Responsibilities

• Review and process online certificate applications and mailed-in certificates.
• Provide telephone and email assistance to customers requesting vital records.
• Explain Bureau policies and procedures and download completed certificate applications.
