Maricopa County Department of Public Health is seeking a Vital Records Registrar to register, correct, and amend vital records and issue certified copies of birth and death certificates. You will guide partners, ensure security, and comply with state statutes and federal requirements.

Qualifications

Two years of office, administrative, or clerical experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Arizona driver's license or ability to obtain one.
Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by statute or policy.

Responsabilités

Register live birth, still birth, foundling, death certificates and issue copies.
Validate identification and ensure 100% data security.
Process hospital letters, court orders, and correction letters as needed.
Provide training and consultation to funeral homes, birthing facilities, and stakeholders.
Coordinate with the Arizona Department of Health Services to resolve vitals issues and ensure compliance.
Balance cash drawer and reconcile payments daily.
