Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nursing program background and state requirements.
• Current EMT/Paramedic or nursing licenses, CPR and AED certification required.
• Licensure in the responsible state for IV therapy and related medical duties.
• FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training completion required.
• At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history review.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and document findings per SOPs.
• Provide center level medical guidance under Center Manager and Center Physician.
• Support EHS programs and vaccination programs as applicable.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements

EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P licenses

LPN/LVN license

RN license

CPR and AED certification

IV therapy state requirements
