Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture in Friendswood, TX, is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager to lead visual merchandising and warehouse logistics strategy, drive staffing, training, and lean inventory operations, and partner with store leaders to keep the store Grand Opening Ready.

You will develop the merchandising team, optimize scheduling, oversee training programs, and ensure guests enjoy an engaging shopping experience with top-notch visual standards across the showroom and distribution centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, design, retail management, sales, merchandising, or related field.
• 5 years experience in direct customer interactive environment, high volume.
• 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and Scheduling: ensure merchandising team is fully staffed and productive.
• Training: oversee onboarding and continuous training for merchandising team.
• Store Experience: ensure the store is Grand Opening Ready with top visual standards.
• Guest Engagement: train team to engage guests effectively.
• Logistics and Warehouse: maintain inventory accuracy and safe operations.
• Assessment: conduct monthly standard work evaluations to identify gaps.
• Performance Management: address gaps and develop leadership skills.
• Team Leadership: build and lead the merchandising team to meet goals.
• Partnerships: collaborate with General Manager, Business Managers, Allocations, Vendors, IT, and other teams.
• SOP Compliance: adhere to company policies.
