Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager in Los Angeles to lead the merchandising team and optimize store presentation. You will oversee staffing, training, and scheduling to ensure guest service excellence and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, coaching the team on the selling model, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver a Grand Opening Ready store.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, design, retail management, sales, merchandising, or related field.
• 5 years experience in a direct customer interactive environment, high volume.
• 3 years of management experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Staffing and scheduling to meet standard work expectations and optimize productivity.
• Oversee training: onboarding, coaching, showroom packets, style guides, and standard work.
• Ensure store is Grand Opening Ready with top visual presentation and labeling.
• Train team on selling model to engage guests effectively.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize losses; safe, clean operations.
• Conduct monthly standard work evaluations and address performance gaps.
• Manage talent development and process improvement within the team.
• Lead merchandising team to achieve goals and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with GM, business managers, allocations, vendors, and IT.
• Adhere to SOPs and provide exceptional guest service.
