Job summary

Living Spaces Furniture in California seeks a Visual Merchandising Manager to lead visual merchandising and warehouse logistics strategy, overseeing staffing, training, and lean inventory operations to keep the store “Grand Opening Ready.”

You will collaborate with store leadership and merchandising teams to drive performance, guest engagement, and top-notch in-store presentation while coaching a developing team to excellence.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5 years in direct customer interactive environment; 3 years of management experience.
• Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and Scheduling: ensure merchandising team is fully staffed and optimize productivity.
• Training: oversee training, onboarding, and style guide execution.
• Store Experience: ensure store is Grand Opening Ready and validate sales fundamentals.
• Guest Engagement: train team to engage guests effectively throughout the store.
• Logistics and Warehouse: maintain inventory accuracy and a safe, clean environment.
• Assessment: conduct monthly standard work evaluations.
• Performance Management: address gaps and develop leadership within the team.
• Team Leadership: build and lead the merchandising team to achieve goals.
• Partnerships: collaborate with General Manager, Business Managers, and Merchandising Team.
• SOP Compliance: adhere to policies and procedures.
• Engage with guests and provide sales assistance to ensure exceptional service.
