Living Spaces Furniture in Southern California seeks a Visual Merchandising Manager to lead the merchandising team and optimize store presentation and operations. Training will occur at the La Mirada location before returning to the home region.

The role focuses on staffing, training, and scheduling, while aligning visual standards with logistics, inventory control, and guest engagement to keep stores “Grand Opening Ready.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years in direct customer environment; 3 years of management experience.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to optimize staffing and training.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure merchandising team is fully staffed and scheduled for productivity.
• Training: Oversee onboarding, coaching, and showroom materials.
• Store Experience: Maintain grand-opening ready visuals and accurate labeling.
• Guest Engagement: Train team to engage guests effectively.
• Logistics and Warehouse: Maintain inventory accuracy and a clean, safe store environment.
• Assessment: Conduct monthly evaluations to identify gaps in execution.
• Performance Management: Address gaps through development plans and process improvements.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead the team to achieve goals.
• Partnerships: Collaborate with GM, Business Managers, Allocations, Vendors, IT, and Distribution teams.
• SOP Compliance: Adhere to standard policies and procedures.
