Job summary

Belk is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager to oversee strategic execution of store visual merchandising, creating displays that reflect brand identity and drive sales. You will partner with the store team to elevate presentation, ensure standards, and lead a culture of excellence.

This exempt role offers monthly bonus eligibility. You will own metrics, guide installations, manage staffing, and train associates to execute on-brand visuals while aligning with merchandising and pricing

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

Own objectives and drive key metrics with accountability.
Direct and support strategic installations and floor setups for events.
Lead daily visual maintenance and adjust lighting to optimize presentations.
Coordinate organization of visual collateral, signage, mannequins, and supplies.
Collaborate with merchandising, selling, and operations leaders on product, promotion, and pricing strategies.
Lead weekly store walkthroughs to assess standards and execution.
Plan weekly workload to ensure labor hours align with priorities.
Develop associates through training and coaching.
Assist in filling open positions and onboarding.
Support asset protection and safety compliance.
