Belk is seeking a Visual Merchandising Lead to drive exceptional in-store presentation and customer experience. You will execute visual directives, plan layouts for events, and elevate merchandise displays in collaboration with merchandising, operations, and selling teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, team leadership, and adherence to brand standards while supporting store objectives. This is an on-site hourly position and requires physical capability and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch; lift at least 40 lbs.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in data-driven decisions to support store goals.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork to uphold brand standards.
• Comfortable with smartphones, tablets, and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Plan and execute visual merchandising directives, signings, installations, and floor setups for events and campaigns.
• Create visual impact with displays, lighting, mannequins, and strategic placement.
• Maintain organization of visual collateral, signage, and supplies; ensure accuracy of inbound components.
• Communicate daily objectives and key tasks; support team knowledge growth.
• Participate in leadership planning meetings using planograms and manifests to determine tasks.
