Job summary

Macy’s is looking for a Manager, Visual Merchandising to enhance the customer experience with creative presentations and frequent style updates. You’ll partner with Style Merchandise Managers to plan workloads and ensure cohesive visual standards across the selling floor.

You will analyze business reports, recruit talent, and ensure promotional accuracy, contributing to Macy’s iconic retail story while earning competitive compensation and benefits.

• Deep understanding of visual merchandising concepts and three-dimensional display techniques
• Ability to lead and collaborate with store leadership to optimize workload and visual styling

Responsibilities

• Re-establish training standards and tools to elevate institutional skill levels
• Increase style/outfit refresh frequency to engage repeat and attract new customers
• Coordinate workload planning, new receipt placement, and visual styling with other managers
• Create captivating in-store displays that boost sales and store profitability
• Ensure promotional accuracy and correct merchandise placement across seasons
• Review reports to act on strengths and address deficiencies with leadership
• Oversee floor fixtures and merchandise moves in collaboration with store leaders
• Promote shortage awareness and enforce loss-prevention policies
• Guide store teams on merchandising standards and fixture utilization
• Foster an inclusive, respectful environment with colleagues and customers
