Job summary

Woodland Park School District RE-2 is seeking an individual to provide support to their Program for Students with Visual Impairment. Responsibilities include reinforcing skills with visually impaired students, creating braille materials, and learning Braille. This position requires a high school diploma and experience with children is preferred. The role offers 37.5 hours weekly at a rate of $16.89 per hour with benefits including medical and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn Braille.
• Experience with children preferred.
• Be highly qualified with school district and state education expectations and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Support to the District's Program for Students with Visual Impairment.
• Reinforces skills through activities with students who have visual impairments.
• Demonstrates knowledge of instructional technology for visually impaired students.
• Creates tactile images and braille materials for classroom use.
