Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with PA Paraeducator Certification or higher.
• CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to acquire them.
• Valid Driver's License required for most programs.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teacher with instructional and non-instructional activities per IEPs.
• Assist during specials and lunch periods; document student progress.
• Implement specially designed instruction and behavior plans from IEPs.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in trainings and meetings.
• Prepare classroom materials and assist with data collection tools.
• Supervise students in the teacher's absence and during activities as needed.
