Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Visual Designer to join the Website Design Engineering team. You will design pages, systems, and interactions for vercel.com, nextjs.org, and product launches, shaping the brand across digital and physical mediums.

You may be remote or hybrid across our SF, NY, London, or Berlin hubs and work closely with design engineers who turn design into production code. The role emphasizes visual design craft, with a hands-on approach to production, reporting to the Director of Website

Responsibilities

• Define the visual language of vercel.com, nextjs.org, product launches, and Ship, and set a creative direction the whole team builds from.
• Create memorable moments: hero animations, launch films, event environments, and brand-partnership work across screen and physical space.
• Own the creative vision end to end from concept to production-ready result, alongside design engineers who turn work into production code.
• Set the craft bar: typography, motion, and detail that make a page unmistakably Vercel.
• Move across mediums: web, motion, illustration, 3D, and identity, raising the bar for the Vercel brand.
• Leave a mark on the system: influence Geist and shared patterns with work that becomes standard.
• Above all, bring a distinctive eye and original ideas, with exceptional visual design instincts.
