Job summary

University of Oklahoma seeks a Visual Communications Student Assistant to support design and messaging for research programs. You will collaborate with the Science Translator and Communications Specialist to create visual content for outreach and reporting.

You will assist in writing, editing, and producing materials for print and digital media, manage social posts, and help plan video shoots and events while adhering to branding guidelines and ADA considerations.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student Fall 2026 at OU.
• Familiarity with Mac or Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with faculty and staff to gather content for outreach materials.
• Create digital and print media (videos, web highlights, social posts, factsheets).
• Assist with writing messaging for publications, website content, news and features.
