Job summary

AmeriCorps in Puerto Rico seeks a VISTA Training Coordinator to strengthen CoC member organizations. You will design and launch training on funding searches, HUD requirements, and grant applications to serve the homeless populations.

The role emphasizes bilingual communication (English and Spanish), outreach via social media, and the creation of training materials. It is a full-time, on-site position with a 12-month term and competitive living allowance.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required (e.g. MA, PhD, MD, JD).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training of CoC members on funding opportunities and HUD requirements.
• Elaborate training program for member organizations and coordinate participation through announcements in social media in English and Spanish.
• Publish dates and content on the CoC Webpage and through the periodic CoC newsletter; offer training and prepare materials.
• The volunteer should be totally bilingual with knowledge of internet and social media platforms.
