Job description

The Universidad del Sagrado Corazón AmeriCorps VISTA program builds the capacity of nonprofit organizations in Puerto Rico through volunteer management training, technical assistance, and strategic partnerships. It strengthens the Volunteer Development Network (RedV), expands meaningful volunteer opportunities, and promotes sustainable community engagement to help break the cycle of poverty.

Member Duties :

AmeriCorps VISTA members will develop volunteer management systems, resources, and partnerships to strengthen nonprofit organizations in Puerto Rico. They will create training materials, support membership and volunteer certification systems, identify community resources, improve digital volunteer platforms, and develop tools for data collection, resource development, and sustainability. Their work will expand organizational capacity and meaningful volunteer opportunities benefiting low-income communities.
