Job summary

Coordinadora Moriviví, Inc., a nonprofit serving homeless individuals in Puerto Rico, seeks a proactive AmeriCorps VISTA member to strengthen the capacity of the CoC PR-503 network. You will conduct needs assessments, research federal funds, and build training resources to support homeless services.

This full-time year-long placement offers growth opportunities, a living allowance, and an education award path. Start date 11/14/2026; location PUERTO RICO; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to organize training and capacity-building activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify training and funding gaps among member organizations.
• Research federal funding resources and national best practices.
• Develop a directory of professional trainers and training resources.
• Create a structured training framework aligned with HUD requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and produce templates and a training guide.
