Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in community development or volunteer management is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support CIH partnerships with municipalities, nonprofits, and public agencies.
• Manage partnership tracking systems and MOUs/LIOs.
• Contribute to collaboration protocols and planning dashboards.
• Document partnership outcomes and track collaboration metrics.
• Support public communications about CIH’s expanding network.

Job description

To build the capacity of low-income communities in Puerto Rico’s Eastern Region by strengthening the regional network of institutions, experts, and cross-sector stakeholders collaborating through the Community Innovation Hub (CIH) to address structural barriers to equitable participation in the visitor economy. By supporting the development and formalization of institutional partnerships and collaboration mechanisms, the VISTA member will enhance CIH’s ability to function as a systems-level platform that promotes sustainable local development, economic mobility, and long-term poverty reduction.

Member Duties:

• The VISTA Partnerships & Network Collaboration Coordinator will help the Community Innovation Hub (CIH) strengthen and formalize collaboration with municipalities, nonprofits, academic institutions, SMEs, and public agencies.
• The member will manage partnership tracking systems, assist with MOUs and Letters of Interest, and support convenings that bring institutional stakeholders together.
• They will also contribute to the creation of collaboration protocols, coordination tools, and shared planning dashboards to sustain joint efforts.
• In addition, the VISTA will document and highlight partnership outcomes, track metrics that reflect collaboration progress, and support public-facing communication about CIH’s growing network.
• Their efforts will expand equitable participation in regional development, increase stakeholder alignment, and reinforce CIH’s capacity to serve as a multisector platform for sustainable economic opportunity.
