United Way of the Kearney Area is seeking a VISTA Member to help build capacity by developing a case management system for staff and partners in the Kearney area. The role focuses on analyzing community needs, researching relevant programs, and recruiting volunteers to support tax assistance and other services.

Qualifications

VISTA members should be able to communicate clearly to different groups of people.

Responsibilities

Develop a case management system to be used by United Way employees to build capacity and strengthen access to community resources.
Analyze community needs and research programs to meet those needs.
Market the need for volunteers to assist with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
Develop a manual to organize key United Way programs and fund development.
