United Way of the Kearney Area is seeking a VISTA Member to help build capacity by developing a case management system for staff and partners in the Kearney area. Member Duties

The AmeriCorps VISTA member will develop a case management system to be used by United Way employees which will assist in building capacity for the organization and strengthen access to community resources. In doing so, the Member will analyze community needs, research programs to meet those community needs, market the need for volunteers to assist with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Other areas that the Member will serve to build capacity is developing a manual to organize key United Way programs and fund development. This will assist in identifying grant fund potential and opportunities for program growth and new program development and services for clients.
