Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and recording visitors.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms per escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, perimeters, and grounds.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors and leadership, documenting observations.
