Allied Universal in Bay Minette, AL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Visitor Management. You will monitor access, verify credentials, manage visitor activity, and provide courteous service in a manufacturing and industrial environment.

The schedule includes Mon, Tue, and Sun from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a pay rate of $16.76 per hour. A Guard Card is preferred; applicants must be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed), have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be prepared for

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by executing security-related procedures and emergency response activities as required in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation per site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, contractor, and incident records and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, contractor, and incident records while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
