Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is seeking a part-time Security Officer Visitor Reception to provide courteous front-desk service, greet visitors and verify credentials at a designated site. This role offers reliable hours, opportunities to pick up additional shifts, and a path toward more hours or a full-time schedule.

The position pays $21.50 per hour, with a flexible schedule, on-site work, and access to Allied Universal tools and training.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access to the location, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Answer and route phone calls, provide general information, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
