Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is seeking a Security Officer Badge Verification to provide reliable part-time coverage with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts through a scheduling platform. The role focuses on access control, incident response, and customer service within a logistics setting.

Pay rate is $23.96 per hour. Candidates should meet minimum requirements and be prepared for a background check and drug screen as mandated by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, document visitor and vehicle activity, and help maintain controlled access to the facility.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate relevant shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
