Job summary

You will handle phone inquiries, maintain the center’s materials, assist with events, monitor social media engagement, and communicate effectively with advertising or marketing partners

Qualifications

• Knowledge of business English, spelling, arithmetic and office practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Drive, Docs, Sheets) and MS Office.
• Experience with social media platforms to share or promote information is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors in a friendly and professional manner; provides information and directions to attractions, lodging and events.
• Handles incoming calls; responds to requests; directs calls; maintains daily contacts.
• Prepares correspondence and promotional materials; maintains conference room calendar.
• Monitors beach flag conditions; monitors and maintains tourist information inventory.
• Markets display space and coordinates orders for brochures from partners; ensures visitor center is well stocked.
• Coordinates events such as tradeshows and meetings; interacts with advertising or marketing partners.
