Job summary

Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a Guest Services Specialist to welcome visitors, answer inquiries, and guide guests through programs and events.

You will handle cash with the POS system, promote memberships, assist at the Nature Nook shop, and help with excursions and wellness offerings. Flexible schedule Fri–Tue; benefits include health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Multitasker with strong customer service and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to assist customers.
• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system.
• Comfort with multiple software systems and booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the Welcome Center and inform them about activities.
• Receive admission fees, manage cash drawer and card sales.
• Encourage memberships and explain benefits with membership software.
• Assist with the Nature Nook gift shop and POS entries.
• Book excursions and educate guests on programming and events.
