The Visitor and Event Coordinator coordinates visitor-experience operations, front-of-house logistics, and approved museum, community, and military events. The role turns Government-approved plans into safe, polished delivery while ensuring that the Contractor does not independently obligate funds, approve payments, set Government policy, or make official commitments.
Coordinate approved public programs, recurring operations, and authorized events, including National Coast Guard Museum Association coordination when directed by the Government.
Prepare run-of-show documents, layouts, schedules, staffing parameters, setup/transition/teardown plans, and event operating procedures within approved requirements.
Serve as the on-site Contractor point of contact during events; coordinate with authorized stakeholders and enforce approved building protocols, including gallery food/drink restrictions.
Deconflict daily gallery visitation with approved public or private events and coordinate visitor-flow, crowd-control, accessibility, and safety needs.
Collect and analyze visitor feedback and visitor-experience measures; recommend process improvements through the Contractor Program Manager.
Track authorized event costs, vendor invoices, and cost-allocation documentation. Coordinate approved vendors but do not obligate Government funds or approve payments.
