Job summary

The Cohen Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Keene State College invites applications for its Visiting Scholar Program for Fall 2027. The selected scholar will teach one undergraduate special topics course in Holocaust and Genocide Studies and contribute to public-facing events and programming.

Responsibilities include designing and delivering events, coordinating with institute staff and campus partners, delivering a public lecture, and supporting additional institute offerings.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree by start date.
• Active scholarly interest in Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
• Ability to work in the U.S. on an unrestricted basis.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver events and programs related to scholar areas of expertise.
• Craft and deliver one public-facing lecture.
• Coordinate planning with Institute staff and campus partners.
• Attend meetings to facilitate planning and execution.
• Support additional Institute offerings and outreach.
