Keene State College invites applications for its inaugural Visiting Scholar Program in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. The scholar will spend Fall 2027 in residence, contribute to public-facing events, and teach one undergraduate course in the department. The role includes office space and access to the college library and archives.

Compensation includes $29,647 for staff duties and $3,642 for teaching, with eligibility limited to U.S. residents.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.
• Active scholarly interest in Holocaust and/or Genocide Studies.
• Experience teaching at the college/university level.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement public-facing events and programs related to the scholar's expertise.
• Deliver one public-facing lecture and coordinate event planning with institute staff.
• Support other institute events and promote programs within professional networks.
