Job description

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accordance with DeVry University requirements
Facilitate student learning through practitioner-focused instruction
Develop approved course syllabi and lesson plans
Organize, prepare, revise, and update course materials
Use online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions
Model effective oral and written communication
Set course expectations, objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weightings
Ensure examinations align with terminal course objectives
Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly
Provide timely feedback to students
Integrate responsible AI technologies into classroom teaching and learning
Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

A master’s degree is required
18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught
Unofficial graduate-level transcripts must be uploaded with the application
Degree must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an internationally equivalent accredited institution
Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply
