Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject taught.
• Unofficial graduate transcripts must be uploaded with the application.
• Degrees must be accredited by US ED, CHEA, or equivalent international accreditation.
• Additional licensing/accreditation considerations may apply.
• Faculty must have outstanding communication skills and commit to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops an approved DeVry University syllabus with terminal course objectives.
• Organizes, prepares, and updates course materials regularly.
• Uses online technologies and course-related software to support accessibility.
• Models clear oral and written communication to enhance learning.
• Publishes terminal objectives and schedules with weight distributions for exams.
• Ensures exams align with objectives and provides timely feedback to students.
• Embraces responsible use of AI in the classroom and addresses AI misuse in coursework.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
