DeVry University invites industry professionals to join as visiting professors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Courses meet weekly or biweekly in eight-week sessions, with face-to-face instruction blended with online discussions and assignments.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in the subject, provide unofficial transcripts, and demonstrate commitment to instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.

Formación

• Master's degree required, along with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject taught.
• Applicants must upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts with their application.
• Degrees must be from an accredited institution recognized by U.S. DOE or CHEA, or equivalent accreditation.
• Additional licensing/accreditation requirements may apply.
• Faculty must have subject matter expertise and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develops an approved DeVry University syllabus following campus templates and course objectives.
• Organizes, prepares, and updates course materials regularly.
• Uses online tools and technology to deliver courses and engage students.
• Models clear oral and written communication to enhance learning.
• Publishes course objectives, schedules, and grade weight distributions.
• Ensures exam content aligns with objectives and provides timely feedback.
• Embraces responsible AI use in teaching and addresses AI in student work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
