DeVry University is seeking an onsite Visiting Professor in Chicago to support the Advantage Academy program for high school students. The role requires a Master's degree with relevant subject expertise and strong communication skills. JD preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught.
• Unofficial transcripts must be uploaded with application.
• Degrees must be from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education or CHEA.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides students an approved DeVry syllabus following campus template.
• Organizes, prepares, and revises course materials regularly.
• Uses online technologies and course-related software to prepare and deliver the course.
• Models effective oral and written communication to engage students.
• Sets clear course expectations and grading criteria.
• Ensures exams align with course objectives and provides timely feedback.
• Embraces responsible use of AI in teaching and evaluates AI use by students.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
