Qualifications

• Master's degree required with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject taught.
• PhD preferred.
• Accredited institution or equivalent accreditation recognized.
• State licensing/accreditation considerations may apply.
• Faculty must have subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides an approved syllabus following campus templates.
• Organizes, prepares, and updates course materials.
• Uses online discussions, email, and Websites to deliver content.
• Models clear oral and written communication to engage students.
• Publishes course objectives, schedules, and evaluation weights.
• Ensures exams align with objectives and provides timely feedback.
• Embraces and integrates responsible AI use in teaching.
• Addresses appropriate and inappropriate use of AI tools by students.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
