The Theatre and Dance Department of Indiana University South Bend is seeking an Assistant Professor of Theatre, Lighting and Sound Design to begin August 1, 2025. The Department, housed in the vibrant Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts, is part of the College of Arts and Sciences. It is a professionally engaged community of theatre makers committed to helping students develop their unique artistic voice while preparing for graduate study or professional theatre careers.
The Department offers a BA in Theatre and BFA programs in Musical Theatre Performance and Design & Technical Production. It produces 2-4 productions annually, including a children’s theatre series that has been a regional tradition for nearly 60 years.
