Job summary

Vimenti seeks a Secondary School Principal to lead instructional, operational, and cultural excellence across the program, aligning academics with a vision that boosts student achievement and staff growth. This role oversees policies, safety, and communications while advancing a collaborative leadership model.

The Principal will drive graduation pathways, college and career readiness, AP/Honors options, and partnerships with families and community.

Qualifications

• Certification as Secondary School Principal.
• Master’s or Doctor’s Degree in school administration.
• Minimum of three years of successful administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion and alignment of the secondary program with graduation pathways and college and career readiness systems.
• Articulate the division’s programs, expectations, and best teaching practices for all constituencies.
• Build and manage a distributed leadership structure to ensure coherence and accountability, including oversight of the credit system, transcripts, and master schedule.
• Assist in admissions by supporting school promotion, enrollment efforts, and onboarding for new students and families.
• Develop academic, strategic, calendar, and staffing plans for the Academic Leadership Team.
• Provide instructional leadership with rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum and college readiness offerings.
• Supervise, evaluate, and coach staff; monitor KPIs such as graduation rates and attendance.
• Establish a safe, inclusive school culture and implement dropout prevention strategies.
• Foster partnerships with families, universities, and potential employers to expand college access and career pathways.
