Job summary

Skykomish School District seeks a PreK-12 School Principal to partner with the Superintendent in establishing a shared vision for learning aligned to the district’s strategic plan. The role advances school culture, instructional programs, and staff professional growth to support student success.

The principal will collaborate with the Superintendent, faculty, and community to respond to diverse needs, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across levels.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field.
• Current Washington State Principal Certificate.
• Minimum of three years certificated classroom teaching experience.
• Minimum of one to two years of successful principal experience leading a school with documented outcomes.
• Experience with teacher and staff supervision, coaching, and evaluation.

• Develops partnerships and resources to support the school and district’s vision and mission.
• Lead and monitor high-performing teams to elevate instructional staff performance.
• Support continuous improvement processes and data-driven decision making.
