Qualifications

• Master’s degree and current administrator certificate.
• Minimum of three years of school administration experience.
• Been an educational leader through active participation in various areas.
• Ability to develop constructive relationships with others.
• Ability to communicate with others in a systematic and positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Develop a relevant curriculum that fits low performing students’ needs and development patterns.
• Ensure all Title 1 programming, reporting, and spending meet requirements.
• Ensure all aspects of Special Education are effective and meet requirements.
• Ensure the Academy maintains accountability ratings under federal and state law.
• Ensure curricula meet federal, state, and contracted guidelines and requirements.
• Assess low performing students, turn around plan results, and action plan monthly.
• Ensure formal and informal assessments are conducted for student achievement and staff performance.
• Demonstrate leadership by making necessary changes to ensure quality education.
