Haven Behavioral Healthcare, part of Oceans Healthcare, seeks a Hospital Chief Executive Officer to lead the facility’s operations, staff, and strategic direction. The CEO drives financial performance, policy development, and regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires strong governance experience, clinical leadership, and the ability to align resources with community needs. This is an on-site senior leadership position at the Albuquerque area hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall operation of the hospital with accountability to the Governing Board.
• Review and guide annual budget planning and financial stewardship.
• Oversee recruitment, retention and direction of qualified staff and leadership teams.
• Submit monthly reports on professional service and financial activities.
• Assist Governing Body with policy, long-/short-term planning and resource reporting.
• Attend Medical Staff meetings and coordinate with Medical Staff committees.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies.
• Determine care delivery models and whether services are provided directly or via agreement.
• Assess patient flow, safety impact and mitigation strategies within the hospital.
