Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Daytona Beach is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide hands-on hospital operations management in a critical care environment. The role focuses on strategic direction, business development, and fiscal accountability, with the ability to lead under pressure.

The ideal candidate brings senior healthcare leadership experience, integrity, and a patient-first mindset to drive high-quality care and organizational growth in Daytona Beach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Three (3) years leadership experience in healthcare.
• Three (3) years operations experience in an acute care or specialty hospital setting.
• Management functions of finance, strategic planning, and community education of health programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily rounds on nursing floor, communicating with patients, families and staff.
• Complies with regulatory obligations and ownership of the Complaint-Grievance Process.
• Ensures hospital’s compliance with State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations.
• Focuses on employee engagement.
• Creates and cultivates a Top 10 Key Business Development Relationship list.
• Implements Corporate Case Management and PPS Model.
• Prepares an Annual Operating Budget, a 3 year Capital Budget and a Strategic Plan.
• Maintains high ethical standards and adheres to compliance, HIPAA and professional guidelines.
